12/22/2004 DAIsuki.... Nothing major changed apart from taking down the bigass Ayu picture and editing the cursor script so that the pictures don’t flip. Ayu appreciation time is over. I’m dedicating the rest of the year to Do As Infinity one of the best Jap bands out there. Check out their song Honjitsu wa seiten nari or Today has blue skies their 16th single. Their latest called Rakuen is up but I haven’t managed to get my hands on it yet. Do as Infinity is made up of vocalist Van Tomiko, guitarist Ryo Owatari and group founder Dai Nagao the brains behind the group’s sound. It was shortly after the group released It’s 4th single the chart topping Yesterday and Today that Dai Nagao began taking a back seat in the group leaving the spotlight to Van and Ryo. He still composes and produces the band’s music tho. While not the most popular group in Japan their music does have a huge following of devoted fans. Rakuen debuted at 13 in the Japan top 20 charts and it looks like its going nowhere but up. Van-chan is a tremendous singer. I’d say she is even better than Ayu hands down. Ryo a huge Hendrix fan and it shows this guy is more than proficient with the guitar. Coupled with Dai’s songs I’m putting my money on them being around for quite some time. Enough gushing for now...time to out and get some supper. Here piggy piggy piggy.
